Make plans now to attend the iNACOL Webinar entitled, The Art and Science of Writing Competencies on August 23. We will want to make sure that Iowa is well represented in this discussion. I am hoping to learn by listening in on the experts--in my opinion, a well written competency goal is foundational to the work of CBE.

Not an opinion, Kari--a FACT. A well written competency is the foundation of CBE. I plan to attend. Thanks for posting.

Schools who have started writing competencies shared examples and protocols. I wish I would have taken better notes!

I will attend a session wiht this title by at the iNACOL conferene next month. I hope after hearing it a second time, I am better able to articulate what we are learning. I plan to take notes and will post them on this site, if I think they make sense. I will attend several sessions on competency-based education.
